报告摘要:For hyperbolic conservation laws whose equations of state are totally linearly degenerate, Majda conjectured that the Cauchy problem with H^s initial data (s > 1 + n/2) admits a globally smooth solution unless the solution escapes every compact subset; in particular, shock formation should never happen. The conjecture remains open in general case. In the first part of the talk I will introduce related developments from the perspective of the classical and relativistic Euler equations under some symmetry assumptions. In the second part, we talk about the relativistic dust evolving in the Schwarzschild spacetime. This talk is based on joint works with Dexing Kong, Zhen Lei, Shuang Miao, Jinhua Wang, Yuzhu Wang, Tianyu Lu and Yifan Liu.
报告人简介:魏昌华,教授,浙江理工大学理玩偶姐姐
副院长。主要从事双曲偏微分方程柯西问题光滑解的整体存在性及奇性形成方面的研究工作。在《Math. Ann.》、 《A. I. H. P. Non Lineaire》、 《Cal. Var. PDEs》、 《Ann. Henri Poincare》、 《J. Differential Equations》、 《SciChina Math》、 《J. Geom. Anal.》、 《J. Hyperbolic Differ. Equ.》等学术期刊发表SCI论文30余篇,作为第二完成人获得2019年浙江省自然科学奖二等奖1项。主持多项国家自然科学基金以及省基金。
